The Exit Planning Institute (EPI) Wisconsin Chapter is set to host its Business Owner Forum on September 17, 2026, at Westmoor Country Club in Brookfield, Wisconsin. The event, running from 3:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m., will focus on family business owner transitions and actionable ideas for effective exit planning.
This year's forum will feature in-depth interviews with three Wisconsin business owners: two who transitioned their companies to the next generation and one who sold their business to a public buyer. These first-hand accounts will provide attendees with real-world perspectives on the challenges and successes of ownership transition.
According to Erik Owen, President of EPI Wisconsin, the forums are designed to offer a confidential space for discussions among local business owners and industry professionals. "We are excited to feature in-depth interviews with three family business owners who recently exited their businesses along with expert insights from five advisors who have built successful exit planning practices," Owen said.
Business owner attendees will learn key strategies for successfully transitioning their business and understand the various options available to them. The forum will also benefit exit planning professionals, including financial advisors and business consultants, who will hear directly from Wisconsin family business owners undertaking leadership and ownership transition today.
