Storagely, the website platform built for self-storage operators, has announced Storagely 3.0.1, a full rebuild of its platform and the largest release in the company's history. The announcement, made on August 26, 2026, signals a significant shift in how the company addresses the evolving needs of the self-storage industry. Operators will see the new platform publicly for the first time at the SSA Fall Conference & Trade Show, September 8th to 11th at the Aria Resort & Casino in Las Vegas, at Booth #1233.
The self-storage industry has changed since Storagely entered it, and operators are asking new questions and running into new constraints. Rather than adding another round of features, the company decided to rebuild from the ground up. According to Austin Simmons, who was named Chief Executive Officer in April of 2026, operators have been telling the company the same three things for years: they want to be more hands-on, not stuck behind a support ticket; they want to launch a new location in days, not weeks; and they want each facility to stand out in its own market. "We stopped just adding features and decided it's time to rebuild around those pain points," Simmons said.
The rebuild introduces several key changes. More control comes through FLEX, the platform's drag-and-drop editor, which lets operators edit any block, swap layouts, and ship new pages in minutes without a developer. ATLAS, Storagely's new Location Profile Manager, keeps every location's details—such as address, hours, pricing, photos, unit types, and amenities—in one convenient place, replacing multiple spreadsheets and hours of work with a single source of truth that automatically updates the website. With the new ATLAS Google Profile sync, a simple edit to a Google Business profile can update location details directly on the website as well. Together, these tools give operators a faster path than the support ticket and allow customization options that give each facility its own identity.
Faster launches are another major benefit. New sites launch in weeks rather than months, and new locations come online in days rather than weeks. New features move just as fast. This new era of launch velocity allows operators to move at their own pace, stay agile, and make quick decisions when needed to move the needle.
Better performance is achieved through a ground-up rebuild exclusively for self-storage: modern architecture, faster load times across mobile and desktop, better page speed scores, and infrastructure that scales from a single store to hundreds of locations. All still paired with the newly imagined one-page checkout that has exciting new upgrades like the long-awaited merch shop and other upsell options.
Simmons, previously Chief Operating Officer and now CEO, led the rebuild in close partnership with Founder and Executive Chairman Brian Leimone, whose technical vision continues to drive the platform. Simmons has worked with Storagely across nearly a decade and several iterations of the business, including the years before it entered self-storage. "For years I've watched Austin grow from someone I believed in, into the leader Storagely needs today," said Leimone. "3.0.1 begins a new era for the company, and he's the right person to lead it."
Storagely will demo 3.0.1 at Booth #1233 across September 8th-11th at the SSA Fall Conference & Trade Show. Meetings can be booked in advance at storagely.io/schedule-a-demo.
Founded in 1999 as a print company, Storagely moved into websites, with a specialty in SEO, soon after and has spent more than two decades turning data, decisions, and client success into conversion-first tools for the industry. Based in Winston-Salem, North Carolina, Storagely's mission is to be the most innovative and trusted self-storage website provider. This rebuild underscores the company's commitment to adapting to the changing needs of self-storage operators and solidifies its position as a leader in the space.
