Search Atlas Fixes Coworker Job Controls Alongside New Slack Launch

Search Atlas, the AI-powered SEO and marketing platform serving over 30,000 customers and 5,000 agencies worldwide, has announced a native Slack integration for its AI teammate, Coworker. This integration allows marketers and agencies to manage SEO and OTTO tasks directly within Slack, eliminating the need to switch between platforms. The move addresses a common pain point where SEO tasks often stall between strategy and execution.

Coworker, designed to handle SEO execution like a human teammate, now works within Slack channels or direct messages. Agencies managing multiple client sites can integrate Coworker into existing client channels, ensuring visibility for all team members. In-house teams can use private messages for day-to-day tasks. Workspace admins gain permission controls to manage access and capabilities, and Search Atlas has published data and permission guidance for organizations reviewing the rollout.

The Slack integration also supports Routines, Coworker's automated recurring reports, enabling teams to receive SEO and OTTO updates directly in Slack. This feature reduces manual dashboard checks and streamlines communication. Additionally, Search Atlas has resolved a previously reported issue that prevented users from deactivating or deleting Coworker's scheduled jobs, giving teams full control over active processes.

For teams using WordPress, Coworker remains available through a plugin, with guidance on how it interacts with OTTO site quotas across multiple domains. To assist new users, Search Atlas has published a library of example prompts and use cases, from technical SEO audits to on-page recommendations. Supporting documentation covers when to use Coworker versus the standard dashboard, troubleshooting common Slack connection issues, and FAQs on connected apps and approval steps.

“Most SEO work dies in a queue somewhere between the strategy and the person who has time to execute it,” said Arman Advani, Partner at Search Atlas. “Putting Coworker in Slack closes that gap. The work gets assigned in the same place the team already talks about it, and it gets done without anyone having to open another tab.”

The Slack integration is available now to Search Atlas customers and can be connected from the Coworker settings inside the platform. For more details, visit Search Atlas.
