INSPECT represents another milestone in SBF’s product development. This optical inspection system automates the quality inspection of electronic assemblies after SMD assembly, elevating process control in electronics manufacturing. Equipped with a high-resolution camera, the system captures the assembled printed circuit board and software autonomously identifies fiducial marks, component positions, and orientations. It reads all standard barcode and 2D code formats and automatically documents inspection results. Set-up takes only minutes, and calibration and operating data are preserved during updates. Enhanced stability and robustness ensure reliable operation even in the event of hardware failures.
