REPLOID Group AG (ISIN: AT0000A3HRX5) has announced plans to execute a stock split at a ratio of 1:15, aiming to make its shares more accessible to a broader range of investors. The company, which trades on the Vienna Stock Exchange's direct market plus segment under the ticker HRX5, will submit a corresponding resolution to its Annual General Meeting on September 14, 2026. Upon completion, the number of shares will increase from 110,881 to 1,663,215, while each no-par value share will continue to represent a proportionate amount of share capital of EUR 1.00.
The decision comes in response to the stock's recent trading price of approximately 1,700 euros, which the company believes may deter individual investors. Philip Pauer, CEO and founder of REPLOID, explained: "REPLOID shares most recently traded at 1,700 euros. If we split today, the price would come in at roughly 113 euros. That's exactly our goal: to make REPLOID stock easier to trade and more attractive, particularly for retail investors."
As a precondition for the split, the Annual General Meeting is expected to approve an increase in share capital from company funds, without issuing new shares. The share capital will be raised from EUR 110,881 to EUR 1,663,215, funded by converting a portion of the unrestricted capital reserves built up during the 2025 fiscal year. This accounting maneuver will not dilute existing shareholders' proportional ownership but will increase the number of shares outstanding.
The stock split is a strategic move to enhance liquidity and broaden the shareholder base, aligning with REPLOID's growth trajectory. The company specializes in industrial-scale insect rearing for the circular economy, converting organic residues from the food industry into valuable proteins, fats, and premium organic fertilizer. Its modular ReFarmUnits are designed to be scalable and site-specific, using Black Soldier Fly larvae and feed mixes developed from regional food chain residuals.
REPLOID's innovative approach addresses critical resource conservation challenges by efficiently utilizing food waste. The company has been listed since July 2025 and employs over 190 people. With this stock split, REPLOID aims to attract more retail investors, potentially increasing market participation and supporting future growth initiatives.
