The PNE Group has sold two wind farm projects, "Wulfsdorf A" and "Kuhstedt III", to a small group of private investors. These repowering projects, located in Schleswig-Holstein and Lower Saxony respectively, have a combined nominal capacity of 45 megawatts (MW). This transaction underscores the strategic importance of repowering in the renewable energy sector, as it allows for the replacement of older turbines with more efficient technology, thereby increasing electricity generation at existing sites.
The "Wulfsdorf A" wind farm, situated in the district of Ostholstein, will feature two Vestas V150 turbines (each 6.0 MW) and two Vestas V162 turbines (each 6.2 MW), totaling 24.4 MW. Construction is already underway, with commissioning scheduled for December 2026. The "Kuhstedt III" wind farm, located in the district of Rotenburg (Wümme), will comprise two Nordex N175 turbines (each 6.8 MW) and one Nordex N163 turbine (7.0 MW), amounting to 20.6 MW. This project is expected to be commissioned around the turn of 2026/27.
Collectively, the two wind farms are projected to generate enough clean electricity to power approximately 31,000 three-person households annually. This significant output reflects the efficiency gains achieved through repowering, which is a key strategy for maximizing renewable energy production on land already designated for wind power.

Operational management for both wind farms will be provided by energy consult GmbH, a subsidiary within the PNE Group. This arrangement ensures that PNE retains a role in the ongoing performance and maintenance of the assets, which is beneficial for both the investors and the company.
The sale of these projects is part of a series of successful disposals by PNE this year. Recent transactions include the sale of the "Romescamps" wind farm in France (10.8 MW), the "Bokel" wind farm in Germany (25.2 MW), a wind farm project in Poland (72 MW), and a photovoltaic project in Poland (approximately 40 MW). This track record highlights the robust demand for renewable energy assets and PNE's ability to deliver attractive investment opportunities.
