For the sixth consecutive season, "Nittany Game Week," the Penn State football pregame show hosted by FOX43 Sports Director Todd Sadowski and featuring former Nittany Lions coaches Tom Bradley and Jay Paterno, is back and expanding its reach to more than 24 million people across eight states. The 2026 season marks a significant milestone for the show, as it welcomes FOX 29 Philadelphia to the Nittany Game Week Network and will also be seen on Reach TV in 90 U.S. airports, including 48 of the top 50.
The show's growth underscores its importance to Penn State fans, offering a unique blend of game analysis, scouting reports, and insider perspectives that cannot be found elsewhere. Nittany Game Week has evolved into a year-round destination for fans, extending beyond the traditional pregame show with exclusive scouting reports, "Impact Interviews," fan questions, and game-day photo submissions. The show continues through May, covering the entirety of Penn State sports.
The broadcast schedule for the 2026 season includes Friday and Saturday slots across Pennsylvania, New York, Ohio, Maryland, Delaware, New Jersey, West Virginia, and Virginia. On Fridays, the show airs at 6:30 p.m. on FOX43 WPMT in York/Harrisburg/Lancaster, PA, and at 10:00 p.m. on DelMarVa Sports Network in Salisbury, MD. Saturdays feature multiple airings, including 6:00 a.m. on WSEE-TV The CW in Erie, PA; 7:30 a.m. on FOX 29 WTXF in Philadelphia, PA; 8:00 a.m. on WNEP2 in Wilkes-Barre/Scranton, PA; and several other slots on FOX 8 WWCP, FOX43 WPMT, WYFX, FOX 53 WPGH, BIG FOX WYDC, FOX & NBC 9 WTOV, and ABC affiliates. Tom Bradley, captain of Penn State's 1978 team, has coached more games for the Nittany Lions than anyone except Joe Paterno. He was named AP Defensive Coordinator of the Year in 2005 and inducted into the Pennsylvania Sports Hall of Fame in 2021. Jay Paterno spent over 20 years coaching college football, including 17 at Penn State, where he led top-ranked recruiting classes and coached two Big Ten MVPs.
