The workflow enables continuous probability distributions to be represented and analyzed within a quantum computing framework, marking a significant step toward applying quantum techniques to complex healthcare and life sciences datasets.
The implementation was developed and evaluated using a hybrid quantum-classical computing platform from an unnamed S&P 500 company. The validated workflow converts continuous datasets into quantum-operable energy landscape representations, allowing the application of Quantum Markov Chain Monte Carlo (QMCMC) techniques while preserving the statistical characteristics of the original data. In this hybrid architecture, quantum dynamics generate proposed samples while a classical acceptance mechanism maintains the target probability distribution.
