Revenue from the solar and battery storage facilities is expected to support the long-term operation of the nature preserve, with project planners estimating the park's fund could grow to approximately $50 million over the next three decades.
The solar facilities could be operational by the end of 2027, while the battery energy storage component is expected to continue development through the end of the decade.
