MEDICLIN Reports Solid First Half of 2026 with Revenue and EBIT Growth

MEDICLIN Aktiengesellschaft (Ticker: MED; WKN 659 510) announced its financial results for the first half of 2026, showing consolidated group revenues of EUR 386.4 million, up 5.0% from EUR 368.1 million in the prior year. Group EBIT improved to EUR 26.6 million from EUR 22.4 million, an increase of EUR 4.3 million. The company treated 54,708 patients during the period, compared to 53,183 in the first half of 2025.

The Post-Acute segment, the company's largest, generated revenues of EUR 263.0 million, up 4.6% from EUR 251.5 million. EBIT for the segment rose to EUR 25.6 million from EUR 23.3 million. The cost of materials ratio improved to 19.0% from 20.0%, while staff costs increased 7.2% to EUR 145.2 million, reflecting investments in workforce. The staff costs ratio rose to 55.2% from 53.9%.

In the Acute Care segment, revenues grew to EUR 111.2 million from EUR 104.6 million, but EBIT remained negative at EUR -1.1 million, unchanged from the prior year. Cost of materials increased 12.2% to EUR 34.6 million, with the ratio rising to 31.1% from 29.5%. Staff costs rose 6.3% to EUR 68.6 million, but the staff costs ratio decreased slightly to 61.7% from 61.8%.

The Care segment reported revenues of EUR 12.3 million, up from EUR 12.1 million, and EBIT improved to EUR 0.2 million from EUR -0.2 million. The Service segment, which reports revenue under 'Other income,' saw other income of EUR 69.2 million compared to EUR 68.5 million, and EBIT increased to EUR 1.9 million from EUR 0.5 million.

For the full financial year, the management board expects consolidated group revenue growth of 3.5% to 6.5% and group EBIT between EUR 57.0 million and EUR 72.0 million. The interim report for the first half of 2026 is available at www.mediclin.de in German and English.
