The Lake Travis Special Education Parent Advisory Council (SEPAC) has announced a silent auction event to raise funds for educational programs supporting children with special needs. The council is actively seeking donations of auction items from local businesses and individuals to advance its mission of providing resources and advocacy for students with disabilities.
According to Janet, a member of the SEPAC organizing committee, the event aims to engage the community in supporting special education. “We are thrilled to invite the community to participate in our silent auction event by donating items that will help us continue to offer valuable services to children with special needs. Your support will make a real difference in their educational journey,” she said.
The silent auction will feature a variety of items, including a “Mexico Dreams for 2” package, “Jungle Lux in Turquoise Tulum for 4 with a Cenote Tour,” and an exclusive 2026 PGA Tour package for golf enthusiasts. Other options include a “Meet the Cowboys” experience for two and a luxurious stay in Park City. These offerings provide attendees with the opportunity to support a worthy cause while securing exciting prizes.
Sarah, another SEPAC committee member, emphasized the importance of community contributions. “We are grateful for the generosity of any community members and businesses who choose to donate to our silent auction. Your contributions will enable us to enhance the educational experiences of children with special needs and empower them to reach their full potential,” she said.
The Lake Travis Special Education Parent Advisory Council is dedicated to advocating for the needs of students with disabilities and ensuring they have access to high-quality educational opportunities. By participating in the silent auction or donating items, individuals and organizations can play a vital role in supporting the council’s efforts to make a positive impact in the lives of these students.
