The Keep A Breast Foundation (KAB) will host its 25th Anniversary Party on Friday, September 5, 2025, at Pappy & Harriet's in Pioneertown, California. The event celebrates a quarter-century of art-driven breast cancer prevention education and will feature a live performance by Grammy-winning hip-hop group Arrested Development and a DJ set by artist Shepard Fairey.
Since its founding in 2000, KAB has reached millions of young people worldwide through innovative programs that combine art and education to promote early detection and prevention. The organization's iconic "i love boobies!" campaign has sparked conversations globally, even reaching the Supreme Court. The anniversary party not only honors past achievements but also looks forward to the foundation's next major project: KAB Valley, a wellness retreat center designed to support breast cancer patients, survivors, and caregivers through nature, art, and community.
Proceeds from the event will directly support the development of KAB Valley. "This night is about celebrating everyone who's helped shape Keep A Breast into what it is today," said founder Shaney Jo Darden. "For 25 years, we've built a movement rooted in art, action, and prevention—and I can't wait to party with the people who made it all possible."
Arrested Development, known for hits like "Tennessee" and the first hip-hop act to win the Grammy for Best New Artist, will perform in support of the cause. "Dear people very close to us have fought this battle, so this benefit concert for Keep A Breast hits home in a different way," said Speech Thomas of the group. Shepard Fairey, a longtime supporter whose work has amplified breast cancer awareness, added: "From the beginning, they've been able to speak to young people in their language and by doing so, they have raised critical awareness about breast cancer detection and prevention."
