Hope Partnership for Education, an independent middle school and education center in North Philadelphia, will hold its annual Friendraiser titled 'The Excellence of Hope' on Thursday, October 30th at 6:00 pm in the Ballroom at the Ben, located at 832 Chestnut Street in Philadelphia. The event celebrates the achievements of students, staff, and alumni while raising crucial funds to support high-quality, values-based education that transforms lives in the community.
According to Virgil Sheppard, President & CEO of Hope Partnership for Education, the Friendraiser is a gathering of individuals who embody the organization's core values. It recognizes honorees who uphold the founding principle that all Philadelphians deserve a quality educational experience. This year, Hope Partnership will honor Mrs. Marjie Quint and Mrs. Nancy Tabas, two dedicated champions who have served as trustees, committee members, and art enrichment teachers at Hope Partnership School for many years. Their commitment has significantly contributed to providing transformational education to youth in the Fairhill neighborhood.
The evening will feature live music, dinner, and a silent auction, offering an opportunity for the community to come together in support of the school's mission.
