Hinz Motorsport, a recognized name in high-performance automotive components, has announced the launch of its newly engineered Hinz Motorsport Carbon Ceramic Brake System, Hinz Carbon. The system was developed in direct response to inventory shortages, rising costs, and tariffs affecting traditional carbon ceramic brake suppliers, according to a press release from the company.
The braking solution integrates a unique friction layer that accommodates more aggressive brake pad compounds while extending disc life. Key performance advantages include improved cold bite, a higher friction coefficient, an easier bed-in process, expanded pad compatibility, increased durability, low dust and noise, and weight savings. The system is produced using a slower, precision-controlled manufacturing process that minimizes impurities and promotes more uniform silicon infiltration, resulting in a higher-grade silicon carbide structure.
"Our goal was to solve a real problem in the market while raising the standard of performance," said Rick Hinz, Owner of Hinz Motorsport. "We've created a system that not only performs at a very high level but also gives customers more flexibility, durability, and long-term value."
The system has completed extensive third-party testing through PFC, an independent brake manufacturer, with after-market and OEM-level evaluations confirming its performance, durability, and positioning relative to established products in the segment. Built for performance street, track, and race applications, the system is compatible with high-end platforms including Porsche, Ferrari, McLaren, Audi, Lamborghini, BMW, and other performance-focused vehicles.
Hinz Motorsport Carbon Ceramic Brake Systems are now available for order. While some kits remain in production, orders can be placed immediately, with lead times of approximately 14 weeks for non-stock configurations.
