Glacier Fresh, a water filtration solutions provider, has announced the launch of its 3G Countertop Water Filter System (model PC04), a gravity-fed purifier designed for households seeking effective water filtration without permanent installation or plumbing modifications.
The PC04 countertop water purifier utilizes Glacier Fresh's proprietary Elarisey™ filtration technology, which employs electrically charged nanofibers to achieve up to 99% removal of harmful microorganisms. Key features of the system include the Elarisey™ filtration technology, which uses a positively charged nanofiber membrane to remove lead, permanent chemicals, microplastics, and over 50 other pollutants. The gravity-fed flow requires no electricity or plumbing connection. The unit holds approximately 3 gallons total, with about 0.8 gallons of filtered water available in the lower chamber, and offers a filter flow rate of approximately 3 gallons per hour.
The system includes a smart filter life monitor that tracks cartridge service life, typically 200 gallons or three months, with a visual indicator on the lid. Construction uses 304 stainless steel for corrosion resistance and durability, reducing reliance on single-use plastic bottles and minimizing plastic waste. The 3G countertop water filter has passed SGS 372/42/53/40, FCC, and FDA certifications, complying with NSF 42 and 53 standards.
The compact countertop design provides high-performance purification without installation requirements. According to Glacier Fresh, the PC04 is suitable for municipal tap water and certain well water sources, and is ideal where portability, ease of installation, and a non-plumbed design are priorities.
