CHORD Real Estate has announced the third annual Invest Panama Summit, scheduled for January 14-17, 2027, in Panama City. Registration is now open at chordrealestate.com/investpanamasummit. This four-day guided experience brings prospective buyers and investors directly to Panama’s real estate market, providing an immersive look at opportunities across the country.
The summit, which follows a successful second edition in May 2026 that attracted twelve participants from North America, is expected to draw a larger group this year. The program begins Thursday evening with a welcome reception, allowing attendees to meet CHORD's principals and other participants. Friday and Saturday are dedicated to site visits across Panama City’s primary development zones, including established urban districts, waterfront communities, and master-planned residential projects. Saturday extends to the Pacific coast, covering the Chame District and Playa Caracol, where major resort and residential brands are under construction. Sunday is reserved for leisure before departure.
Participants meet directly with developers, walk active construction sites, and tour areas they have been researching remotely. Feedback from previous summits indicates that the on-the-ground experience is categorically different from research alone, with several attendees entering negotiations during the summit. “Every market has its nuances,” said Steve Luther, founder of CHORD Real Estate. “The best way to understand what you are actually buying is to see it yourself, meet the people behind it, and ask your questions in person. That is what the summit is built around.”
