The demonstration aims to show how broadcasters can build a seamless workflow using BZBGEAR's range of products, addressing the common challenge of integrating multiple components from different vendors. By wiring together PTZ cameras, a production switcher, an encoder-decoder-recorder, and fiber transport, BZBGEAR offers a cohesive solution that can simplify system design and deployment.
The acquisition layer features BZBGEAR's award-winning ADAMO PTZ cameras in NDI|HX 3 and Dante AV-H versions. The BG-ADAMO-4KND and BG-ADAMO-4KDA models output up to 4K@60Hz over HDMI 2.0 and 12G-SDI, with 12X or 25X optical zoom. AI-powered auto-tracking in Presenter and Zone modes enables hands-free operation, while integrated tally lights and an onboard microSD writer (up to 1TB) provide practical benefits for live production. The BG-ADAMO-JRND and BG-ADAMO-JRDA offer 1080p@60Hz with similar control workflows, allowing broadcasters to mix 4K and HD cameras under a single control surface.
For production, the BG-Commander-UltraX combines a 4K production switcher and PTZ joystick controller in a portable unit. It features four HDMI inputs, a 7-inch touchscreen, a 4D joystick, and a sliding T-bar. Built-in chroma key, picture-in-picture, and logo overlay are included, and the USB-C webcam output allows the program feed to be used directly in streaming or conferencing platforms. Recording to USB or SD card is possible without a PC, and camera control is via ONVIF 2.8 and VISCA over IP.
The BG-STREAM-DE encoder-decoder-recorder handles IP transport, accepting SDI or HDMI inputs and encoding H.265 or H.264 up to 1080p@60Hz, with output up to 3840x2160p@60Hz. It supports SRT, RTMP, HLS, RTSP, and TS over UDP, with NDI and Dante AV-H available under separate license. Audio embed/de-embed and USB 3.0 recording provide flexibility for various workflows.
Finally, the BG-IPGEAR-XTREME-F fiber transport system carries 8K@60Hz 4:4:4 with DSC 1.2a, uncompressed 4K@60Hz 4:4:4, and visually lossless 4K@144Hz 4:4:4 over single-mode fiber up to 10 kilometers at zero-frame latency. It also supports RS-232, IR, CEC, 1G Ethernet, and USB KVM over the same fiber, eliminating ground loops and EMI issues common with copper connections.
