Bestselling author Jody Sharpe has issued a call for angel stories to be featured on her new YouTube channel and possibly included in her next book. Sharpe, who won the 2023 and 2024 National Association of Press Women's Communications Contest Awards for Fiction, has been collecting angel encounters for years, weaving them into her popular Mystic Bay series. Now, she is formally inviting submissions through her website at https://jodysharpe.com.
“I have heard so many angel encounters from others that I’ve been compelled to tell them in my novellas and on my channel,” Sharpe said. “I am writing a new novella, a prequel to the Mystic Bay series, and I will weave more of new stories people tell me and those of my own into the book.” The selected stories will also appear on Sharpe’s YouTube channel at https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1zFlB6SCAJg&t=14s.
Sharpe’s latest book, New Angel In Town, the seventh installment in the Mystic Bay series, fictionalizes angel stories she has gathered. The novel follows Guardian Angel Ron, who descends to Mystic Bay, California—a town where angels live as humans—to ensure his charge, a foster child named Evan, finds a forever home. Meanwhile, writer Noah Greenstreet pens a film about the townsfolk’s angel encounters. The book has received praise for its emotional depth and uplifting themes.
