Aquinas Senior Living, Inc., a tech-enabled senior care provider, announced the expansion of its resident safety ecosystem powered by Teton's proactive care platform. Following a benchmark deployment at Heritage Springs Memory Care in Montoursville, the system has been activated at Wynwood House communities in State College and Centre County, achieving near-universal adoption. The Wynwood House State College location went live on April 1, 2026, and the Nittany Valley site in Centre County on April 8, 2026. Across these communities, resident and family adoption reached 99.8%, with only one family opting out.
Teton's AI technology uses passive optical sensors installed in resident rooms, requiring no wearables or resident interaction. Privacy is built in: no video is streamed live, no audio is captured, and movement data is processed locally. Care teams receive safety signals and brief anonymized clips when needed. The platform is HIPAA compliant and SOC 2 certified. Teton's analysis of more than 2,000 falls across four countries found that measurable signals like night-time movement patterns and sleep disruption precede falls by hours or days, allowing early intervention.
As part of the expansion, one Aquinas facility serves as the Beta test site for the integrated E-call resident call system, which folds assistance requests into the Teton dashboard. This unification aims to eliminate alarm fatigue and help staff prioritize critical needs in real time. The rollout schedule includes: November 2025 at Heritage Springs (100% adoption), April 1 and 8, 2026 at Wynwood House locations, and a planned May 2026 launch at the Lewisburg community.
