AdvantaPure, a division of NewAge Industries, has announced the launch of EcoFlex, a sustainable thermoplastic elastomer (TPE) tubing designed to reduce environmental impact in biopharmaceutical and pharmaceutical manufacturing. The product will be formally introduced on February 25, 2026, at an event in Raleigh, North Carolina, hosted by the International Society of Pharmaceutical Engineering's Carolina–South Atlantic Chapter (ISPE-CaSA), in collaboration with distributor Carolina Components Group (CCG).
EcoFlex replaces traditional fossil-based oil with a bio-based oil in the polymer manufacturing process, achieving an approximate 25% reduction in product carbon footprint (PCF) compared to conventional TPE tubing. The material is sealable, weldable, and available in a wide range of configurations, including single-use systems and custom designs. A comprehensive validation package supports its use in regulated environments.
