Advanced Behavioral Health, Inc. (ABH) has expanded its mental health services to Washington County with the opening of a new outpatient office in Hagerstown. The location, which began seeing patients on September 1, 2026, marks the organization's first presence in the county, extending its reach to six Maryland counties. The new office is part of ABH's commitment to meeting clients where they are, offering the same standard of clinical care available at its other locations.
According to Vera Kurdian, CEO of ABH, the expansion is about building collaborative partnerships in the community. The new office is located at 265 Mill Street, Suite 800, Hagerstown, MD 21740. Patients and referring providers can contact the office at 301.345.1022. The facility offers a range of services, including onsite and offsite individual and family therapy, school-based therapy, telehealth counseling, and psychiatric evaluation and medication management. ABH also plans to introduce its Psychiatric Rehabilitation Program (PRP) to the Hagerstown office once Maryland's PRP moratorium is lifted, expected in 2027, further expanding the continuum of care available to Washington County residents.
This expansion is significant because it addresses a critical need for mental health services in Washington County.
